New School Uniform Additions
We are delighted to let you know that the uniform shop now has long sleeve shirts and blouses in stock for the winter season. They will soon be launching long-sleeved PE shirts too. As a reminder, you can access the online uniform shop at http://www.schooluniform.hk
Congratulations to our Students
Our Year 5 students performed an inspiring Chinese assembly for their families. We loved seeing the students confidently using Chinese to communicate to their audience whilst having so much fun on stage! Many thanks to the Mandarin team for their incredible contributions to making this such a success.
Our Year 4 students hosted an amazing Mini Exhibition about natural disasters. Family members who came today really enjoyed hearing about and seeing all the learning that took place during the unit.
Our Year 6s have braved the weather and are thoroughly enjoying learning new skills, testing their boundaries and supporting each other this week at Outward Bound HK.
Over the next three weeks, we will continue to have lots of exciting activities and opportunities for students and parents to be involved in learning outside and inside of the classroom. It is great having you all back in the school and on excursions, joining in with the learning and the celebrations.
Changes to Vaccination Requirements
Please note that starting from Wednesday 30 November, the vaccination requirements under the Vaccine pass for all children aged 5 to 11, will require students to have received their second Covid-19 dose.
Please click HERE for more information from the Department of Health.
Please update the latest vaccination and/or recovery records of your child to the VLE Through the ESF App so that your child is able to gain access to all venues that fall under the Vaccine Pass.
ESF Connections Programme
ESF ran a 'Connections' programme over the summer which helped support families in quarantine with learning resources for children. Given that we still have a number of absences across the schools for various reasons, ESFC has designed a series of short videos. These will help keep students learning at home if they are well enough to do so. Each session is around 20 minutes long and focuses on four popular themes;
Arts & Crafts
Dance
Science
Storytelling & Drama
The video resources can be found here.

Quiz Night!
Oh what a night!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined our “74th” Annual Quiz Night last week at El Charro, Cyberport. The atmosphere was electric as 16 teams battled it out over 7 rounds with team “Home Schooled” taking the coveted Kennedy School PTA Quiz Team Champion crown.
We raised HK$16,000 on the night and will use these funds to support a number of funding projects under review currently - to benefit every child at school.
We couldn’t have done it without our fabulous Quiz Masters Mr Matt King and Mr Rudi Dray, our scorers Ms Michelle Spratt, Ms Yoon-Ah Lee and Ms Brenda Cook - and the PTA support team. Superb team effort. See you next year!!
Winter Wonderland - Monday 12th December - It’s Back!
Location: Kennedy School Playground & Live Stream
Both Junior and Senior Choirs and our Orchestra will perform live at school on Monday 12th December 6.00 to 7.30 pm.
We will invite families of children in the choirs and orchestra to join the event in person - and will send a link to these families to register attendance.
Maximum 2 guests per choir/orchestra member.
After 2nd December, if we still have capacity, we will open up a final few tickets to the whole community to join in person.
We will be sharing the Livestream Link to the rest of our community to enjoy this very special and festive occasion at home.
Christmas Hampers
Each year at the Winter Wonderland, we hold a lucky prize draw with prizes of amazing hampers packed full of goodies donated by families at school.
In order to make this year a success, we (on the PTA) really need to ask for your help to send new and unopened donations to the PTA office by Wednesday 7th December.
Please see below for the full list of items we are looking for.
The items listed are guides/suggestions - parents should donate items to match the main category in their yearband.
If you have any empty hamper boxes or baskets you are no longer using, please contact the PTA - pta@kennedy.edu.hk
School Uniform - Sale Items - Final Sale
We have further reduced the prices on our remaining uniform sizes of our former uniform style.
**Items purchased may only be used for the remainder of this school year and all items are non refundable/returnable - please order carefully**
In the New Year, we will be holding a uniform drive for second hand uniform in good condition.
