Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Outstanding Musical Production by Year 6
Families were entertained by the amazing Year 6 students on Wednesday night. The show had something for everyone and the children ‘blew the roof off the assembly hall’ with their amazing skill, enthusiasm and energy. It was a fabulous performance and very professionally done too. A huge thanks to all the staff for their contributions and to the talented Mrs GG for directing the show. Here are the photos taken of their performance.

Students to Meet Their New Teacher
On Monday, June 26th, the students will have an opportunity to meet their new classmates and teachers. Your child will receive a hard copy introduction letter from their new teacher, outlining any stationery that needs to be purchased for Years 3 to 6. The letter will also provide details about PE days when they will wear their sports kit.
Staff Leavers
This week, we are highlighting staff who are leaving us after more than 4 years at Kennedy School. Lucy Wong, Wayne Richardson, Elaine Xu, Jyo Channa, Alex Noakes, Jess Worringham and Maurice Del Rio - we are incredibly sad to lose them but are excited about what lies ahead for them all. We can’t wait to hear all about their adventures!
Please click on any of the images below to find out more about these amazing staff members.
Do you have your child’s school uniform all sorted for next year?
As a reminder, the children will need to wear the full suite of the uniform next year which can be purchased at the uniform shop. For Years 1-5, this also includes the new school bag, book bag and hat or cap. There are two sizes of school bags. If your child is in Years 4-6, you might prefer to purchase the larger school bag as this is the one that they will also take on to West Island School.
Please note the uniform guidelines which include everything you need to know.
Last week of term
I wanted to let you know that due to family reasons I will be on leave next week. I’m really sad to be missing the last week of school as it’s always a special time to say farewell and celebrate the amazing year it has been. I am very grateful and proud to be the principal of Kennedy School and have absolutely loved my first year with you all. Good luck and best wishes to all the students and families that will be moving on from Kennedy School. To all other families, I’m looking forward to seeing you back in August.
Kind regards,
Brenda

Part-Time PTA Co-ordinator
The Kennedy School PTA is currently recruiting a part time PTA coordinator. This would be a wonderful opportunity for a parent within our community to help coordinate our events and fundraising activities.
Being part of Kennedy School is really a joy and we have a wonderful group of parent volunteers with whom you will be working with.

Hot Lunch Service - Commencing Term 1 2023/24
We are in the final stages of awarding the contract for the commencement of a hot lunch delivery service from Term 1 2023. Details to follow.
