Dear Parents and Caregivers,
As we approach the final day of the academic year, I want to express my gratitude to the entire Kennedy School community. It is incredible to reflect on all we've achieved together since August 2022; and I am so proud of our staff, students and families for their adaptability and resilience in returning to school life and making the most of every opportunity we could.
Our success is due in no small part to the fantastic team of educators and staff members at Kennedy School. They understand that everything we do is about making a positive difference in the lives of our students, and I've seen so many examples of their dedication and hard work. I feel privileged to be the principal of such an outstanding school, and our team is looking forward to another great year with you all.
So much has happened this year that we put a little slideshow together to remember some of the best moments of the school year at Kennedy School in 2022-23.
This link will be updated at the end of tomorrow (30 June) so please look out for it then!
Year 6 Graduation
Speaking of success, we recently celebrated the graduation of our Year 6 students with their families. It was a time to acknowledge their achievements, cherish memories and look forward to the future. We are delighted that the ceremony went so well, and we know everyone is eagerly anticipating the party tonight!

Do you have your child’s school uniform all sorted for next year?
As a reminder, the children must wear the full uniform suite next year, which can be purchased at the uniform shop. For Years 1 to 5, this also includes the new school bag, book bag and hat or cap. There are two sizes of school bags. If your child is in Years 4 to 6, you might want to purchase the larger school bag as this is the one that they will also take on to West Island School.
Please note the uniform guidelines, which include everything you need to know.
Thank you again for your support and contributions to Kennedy School. We wish you all a safe and enjoyable summer break! We look forward to seeing all the students back in school on Wednesday, 16th August, at 8.10 am. Enjoy family rest time so that you are all supercharged for the next academic year.
Kind regards,
Brenda
