Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Year 5 Camp
Yesterday, our Year 5 students returned from their 3 day/2 night camp adventure in Sai Kung. These experiences are so significant for many students - pushing them out of their comfort zones, experiencing new and challenging activities in the outdoors and collaborating closely with a range of friends and new peers and staff. It was a huge success and the staff saw many of the children really shine in these conditions. We also extend a big thank you to our dedicated staff members who sacrifice their own time to provide this incredible experience for your children. Making memories for a lifetime!
Wishing our families and the wider community joy and happiness on this festive occasion. Enjoy the celebrations with your loved ones and create beautiful memories. Have a fantastic Diwali!
Exciting News for Diwali Celebrations in our School
We are thrilled to announce that we have received a number of items for our upcoming Diwali celebration assemblies during the week of November 12th. Some of the children have enthusiastically prepared items and we have met them today to allocate their performance day. Parents of performers are welcome to attend too.
In the spirit of fostering cultural appreciation, we encourage our school community to embrace the essence of Diwali by dressing in culturally inspired clothing on Thursday, November 16th. We encourage the children who are presenting in the assemblies to wear their attire on the day of their performance.
Let's come together and make this Diwali celebration a truly memorable and inclusive experience for all.
School Uniforms
We kindly request that you ensure your child is wearing the appropriate school uniform items.
Festive Fair
Mark your calendars for Friday, November 17th, as we have an exciting community event planned - the Festive Fair! There will be lots for the whole family to enjoy.
Warm regards,
Brenda

We are so excited about the line up we have - there will be light meals and drinks available, gifts to purchase, fun activities for children and also musical entertainment for all, including the newly formed Kennedy School Rock Band! We might also have a visit from a special guest (Hint - he normally wears red!)
Note that there will be no parking facilities available at the school as the carpark will be turned into the food and beverage zone. The road outside the school is also a no-parking zone. To ensure a stress-free evening, please arrange to use public transportation.
Important Reminder - Please bring cash as it will be the primary mode of payment for many vendors including the PTA who will be selling tickets at the door. Limited e-payment options will also be available for some vendors.

We are so proud to reveal the new Kennedy School branded Christmas ornament, The Kennedy School Star Ferry! This is the third item in our festive collaboration with Lion Rock Press and will be available for sale at the PTA table at the Festive Fair for $150 each.

Boys/Girls Football
Congratulations to the students who competed in this year's HKPSSA football Boys and Girls Tournament at HKJC (Tseung Kwan O) on Tuesday.
We are incredibly proud of the teams of Kennedy School students who participated in this event. Both teams demonstrated an impressive understanding of how to play the game skillfully and confidently while also demonstrating a strong team spirit! The Boys' team was undefeated until their final match and the Girls' team also won many of their games to continue their excellent progress.
Go Kennedy Footballers!
Good luck to our team of tennis players who are representing Kennedy School in the tournament at Harrow International School tomorrow afternoon and also to our Year3/4 Footballers in their friendly tournament next Wednesday. More news about those events next week.
