Dear Parents and Caregivers,
This morning, we took a whole school rainbow photo, a tradition we’ve missed for the last 4 years.
We also announced that Phoenix lifted the House Trophy once again! Well Done Phoenix!
I would like to thank everyone for an amazing 2023/4 academic year. What a packed year it’s been, full of wonderful learning experiences, new friendships and tons of fun!
This would not have been possible without our amazing staff who work hard every day to make Kennedy the great school we are all so proud of!
Wishing you all a wonderful summer holiday. Rest up and relax, stay safe and see you all on Tuesday, 13 August 2024.

Sports Round Up
What a year it has been for our Kennedy School Sports Clubs! The variety of opportunities available for our students at Kennedy is incredible. Our students can choose from more than 16 sports - from Aquathon, AFL, golf, and hockey, to rugby, tennis, table tennis, swimming and yoga (A-Z almost). We have seen some amazing student performances this year. Many thanks to the staff and PE Department for coaching and supporting our students. Roll on 2024/25!
Library
Many thanks to the 59 students who donated a birthday book to the library this year! We hope you've enjoyed reading the book with your classmates, teachers, and family.

Message from the PTA Chairperson
As we come to the end of the academic year, on behalf of the PTA Committee, I would like to wish all of our Kennedy families a wonderful summer break. To the families who will be leaving us due to their children continuing their journey to secondary or to other destinations, it has truly been a privilege to serve as your PTA Chairperson for the last two years.
This year, we saw the return of our community event, the Festive Fair with a new format and also the debut of the Kennedy School Rock Band. It was wonderful to be able to celebrate the season together after a 4 year hiatus. The Adventure Playground made its debut in May which was a joint project with the PTA, parents, teachers and students. This truly made the community spirit come to life at Kennedy and the results are in our children’s smiling, happy faces. Dress Up Days are a hit with the students and we will continue this tradition. I want to thank the community for their generous donations, as these are vital in giving our children an even more wonderful school experience.
What's next for the academic year 2024-2025? Our wonderful committee, PTA Administrators and school leadership team have already been hard at work planning some fun! Events for next Term 1. Also keep an eye out for the launch of our newly remodelled “The Space” by the PTA- a place where parents can stop by, chat and collaborate with us to make our community even better! Until then have a fantastic summer!
Natasha Petit-O’Connor.
In Case you Missed IT!
Calling All Parents:

We Need You!
The Kennedy School community is very happy to volunteer and with so many fun-filled events coming up this school year, we need…
You!
One event we are very excited to share is the “Festive Fair.” This year we are holding the fair on the 15th of November and are already starting to prepare for an amazing event.
We love it when everyone gets involved, so do let us know if you/your company would like to donate items to use in an auction or other arranged activity, if you have a business you’d like to showcase or if you would like to be behind the scenes! We would love to hear from you.
In the past, we’ve had photographers, bar/restaurant owners, face painters, magicians, bakers, chefs, and artists all help out. If you would like to join our army of volunteers, please let us know how or if you’d simply just like to put your hand up to help on the night, this would also be very helpful. (it is a lot of fun!) Please email gadams@kennedy.edu.hk.
