Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Tuesday's Celebration of Learning & Student-Led Conference Day was a huge success! It was so nice to see our entire school community come together. One Year 2 student even told me it was his "best day ever!" Seeing parents and caregivers immersed in their child's learning journey, guided by their children, was a joy. It was awesome to see everyone connecting and sharing. Thanks for being a part of it and for supporting the book fair too!
Congrats to our cross country runners and our hockey teams for competing in inter school sports in the last week.
Have you Completed our Stakeholder Survey Yet?
Just a friendly but important nudge about the 2025 ESF Stakeholder Survey. We've extended the deadline to Friday 28 March 2025, so you've got a bit more time to complete it. If you haven't filled it out yet, we'd really appreciate it if you could! Your thoughts are super helpful. Can't find the email? Check your Spam or Promotions folders and search for "2025 ESF Stakeholder Survey." Many thanks.
Year 6 Beijing Study Excursion
This Sunday, the adventure begins! 108 Year 6 students along with 17 staff, are taking off on their much-awaited Beijing study excursion. They're excited about being immersed in Chinese culture and language, exploring incredible historical landmarks, and connecting with students at a local school. It's a fantastic chance for them to bring their learning to life! A huge thank you to the families, and staff for supporting the trip. Also our amazing Chinese team, and Michael, our Finance Manager, for all their hard work in making this trip possible.

Well done Kennedy Runners!
On Saturday, 40 runners took part in the HKPSSA Cross Country Championships at Discovery College. This was the final running event for the U8 to U11 categories. (1.6 km to 3 km respectively). Our students ran very well and came in 3rd place out of the 18 participating international schools there. Many thanks to everyone who helped prepare our athletes for this event and to all parents and staff who supported the event on Saturday.
For further details please see the results below:
Good job Kennedy Hockey Teams!
Yesterday, the Kennedy boys and girls Hockey teams played in the HKPSSA Hockey Championships at Hong Kong Football Club. Our girls team finished 4th overall with good wins against Quarry Bay School and Bradbury School and a draw against Clearwater Bay School. The boys team registered two good wins against Quarry Bay School and a draw with Clearwater Bay School. Special mentions to our Most Valuable Players (MVP) Ink Chen in 4K and Anne Cheung in 4D. Thank you to Mrs Harris and coach Lee for your help with the teams.
Term 2 Sports Clubs end next week
All Kennedy staff-run Sports Clubs will have their final session next week (Week of 24 March). Thank you to Mrs Isaacs, Mr Lynch, Mrs Harris, Mr Kruger, Mr Powner, Mr Dray, Mrs Douglas, Ms Franklin, Mr Coller, Ms Brenda, Mrs Walters and Ms Barrington for your support this term.
Please look out for the sports clubs on offer in Term 3 in next week’s newsletter and follow the registration process.
We're looking forward to seeing all the creative outfits that show up tomorrow! We can't wait to see everyone's unique styles and ideas.
The funds raised from the Year 1 Dress Up event supported Katie Flowers' Art Therapy session on Thursday, March 13. It was a fantastic day filled with music, relaxation, and creativity, adding an enriching layer to our educational programme.
PTA preloved uniforms and merchandise.
The PTA ran a stall at the Celebration of Learning on Tuesday. It was a huge success seeing parents purchase preloved uniforms, Kennedy School merchandise and tasty juice boxes. Uniform and merchandise are still available at The Space by the PTA.
