Year 4 Show - Kennedy’s Got Talent
Thank you to the parents and family members who came to watch the year 4 talent show. The approach to performance required students to take agency in deciding how to share their talents, interests and passions on stage. It was great to see the variety of talent and also the confidence students had on stage. Congratulations to all of the Y4 students and a big thank you to all of the staff that were involved.

Hats, Hats, Hats!
Please ensure your child brings a hat to school every day. As the days are getting hotter again we are seeing a growing number of children not protected from the sun. Please help us keep your child safe from sunburn by ensuring they have a school hat with them. Please order the hat or other school uniform items online or visit the store.
Have you Completed our Stakeholder Survey Yet?
Last chance to complete before the survey closes on Friday 28 March 2025. Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts.

Sports Clubs have now finished
Please note that all Kennedy staff run Term 2 Sports clubs have had their final session this week. The last session for the Y6 Elite Squad Swimming Training at WIS will be on Thursday 3rd April. Thank you to everyone who has given their time to lead or support a sports club this term.
Now we look ahead to the opportunities in Term 3. Please see the sports clubs on offer listed under the Term 3 Staff-Run ECAs in this newsletter and apply through Gateway.
KS Year 6 / WIS Year 7 Elite Squad Swimming Gala
Good luck to our 27 Year 6 students who will be representing Kennedy in the first ever Kennedy + West Island Swimming Gala. This is the culmination of twice weekly morning training that our students have been taking part in by specialist coaches from Pacific Swimming Club. Our students will take part in a variety of races against and with WIS students and is another step towards building close links with WIS as our students transition to secondary school. The gala will take place on Wednesday afternoon at WIS pool. As this event will take place during school hours at WIS, parents will not be allowed access to WIS. Students will return back to Kennedy in time for their regular transport home. Go Kennedy!
Congratulations Hayson Yue 5F!
Hayson recently participated in the US Kids Golf - China Championship 2025 @ Shanghai.
This is a prestigious event with many skilled international players flying to Shanghai from many different countries around southeast Asia to participate in this tournament.
In the three-day tournament Hayson emerged as the champion in the 9 years old age group, with a 10 strokes advantage. Congratulations to Hayson in dealing with the challenging conditions of this tournament. This is a great learning experience for Hayson, good luck for the future!
Happy Birthday to the children who donated a book to the Library!
Gorgeous in green!
What an incredible Go Green Dress-Up Day! Thanks to all our children and staff who got into the spirit of things, we were able to raise over $9,000! With these funds, Year 3 is thrilled to book a Katie Flowers Art Therapy session for next week.
