It all felt rather strange coming back to school only to head into a long weekend today. It is a great chance for everyone to relax and recharge.

Farewell to Ketaki Joshi - EA for 5M and 5S

Sadly, it is time to bid farewell to Ketaki — after 10 fabulous years at Kennedy School! Ketaki has been a warm, kind and supportive colleague and EA since April 2015. Her commitment, kindness, and impact on students and friendship with colleagues will leave a legacy. As she embarks on a new journey with her family, we thank her for ten incredible years and wish her all the very best in her relocation abroad.

Smartphone Free Childhood HK and Year 6 Parent Coffee Morning with WIS

Thanks to all of the parents who attended these parent sessions this week. They were highly informative, and it was great to see your involvement and to hear that the time spent was useful and valuable.

Yearbook 2024/25

This is a reminder that the deadline for ordering this year’s Yearbook Order is Friday 9 May. The books are printed to order, so copies cannot be purchased after this date. To order, sign the enotice on Gateway. Once the books are printed, they will be sent to your child’s classroom in the last 2 weeks of June.

PTA - Discovery Dome, Artists Visits, Pop Up Uniform Sale, Calling for Recipes

Out of This World!

This week, Year 6 had an incredible space adventure with the Discovery Dome mobile planetarium, where they opened their minds to what lies beyond our planet. This was possible thanks to generous funds raised through the PTA’s Year 6 Pyjama Dress-Up Day in Term 1.

 

Your dress-up day donations make a real difference

The generosity of our community continues to bring exciting opportunities to our students. Thanks to dress-up day donations, Year 5 will soon take lessons from talented HK resident artist, Gail Deayton, while Year 4 will explore the vibrant world of art with Ell McColl. We can't wait to see the masterpieces they create.

Pre-loved Uniform Collection

As we approach the end of the academic year, we are now collecting pre-loved uniforms. If your little ones have outgrown theirs, we’d love for you to donate them! Your contributions will help fellow students and make a meaningful impact. Please drop donations off at the PTA Space.
