Active Summer Photo Submission
Welcome back to the new school year! We would love to hear about the sporting achievements of our students over the summer break. To celebrate our students’ active pursuits, we would like to display a photograph of your child engaged in a summer activity on our PE Wall of Fame in the gymnasium. If you would like to submit a photo, please add it to this folder here.
Term 1 Swimming
Here are some important details about our swimming programme:
The Autumn Term swimming programme will start on Friday 29 August.
Swimming lessons in Term 1 are for children in Years 2 to 6. Year 1 students will have swimming lessons in Term 3.
All new students will need to sign up for the swimming programme. Please read carefully and sign the e-notice on Gateway.
In case of inclement weather, younger students will learn water safety, while older students will learn practical water safety techniques.
We recommend that your child brings his/her swimming kit on every swimming day, regardless of the weather.
On swimming days, students may wear their PE kit to school to save time changing.
We will hold the Year 6 Swim Gala on Friday 24 October 2025.
To be prepared for swimming, each child will need:
Students not taking part in the swimming lessons will be given tasks assigned by their class teacher.
Health-Related Fitness Unit
As we kick off the new term, our focus in PE will be on Health-Related Fitness. In this unit, students will develop a deeper understanding of the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, the body's response to exercise, the interaction of body systems, and the development of physical fitness. We will work closely with both students and teachers to promote active living throughout the school community.
Term 1 Sports Clubs
Please check the Staff Run Clubs section above for all the before and after school sports clubs this term.
Good Job Nathan!
Congratulations to Nathan Liao (3T) who participated in the Shenzhen Junior Golf Tour this week and achieved the first place of his age group after two rounds of 36 holes in total. We wish Nathan good luck tomorrow as he competes in the Hong Kong GAHKC Junior Golf Series at Deep Water Bay Golf Club.
Welcome to a new School Year!
Welcome Back! The PTA warmly welcomes everyone to a brand-new school year! We hope you all had a joyful and restful summer break.
Over the summer, our dedicated site staff were hard at work on several exciting projects. One highlight is the installation of new shade covers in the Lower Years playground—an initiative proudly sponsored by the PTA.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported this effort. Your contributions have helped create a more comfortable and enjoyable play space for our youngest learners!
Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!
Welcome Coffee Morning for New Parents
It was such a pleasure to meet the new parents of our Year 1 students and new starters at our recent coffee morning. The atmosphere was filled with friendly conversations, shared hopes, and a genuine eagerness to build connections within our school community.
We talked about the importance of helping children find friendships, how we can support one another as parents, and the many ways to get involved — through volunteering or simply being part of the journey.
We hope both parents and children had a joyful and memorable first day. Here’s to a wonderful year ahead, full of learning, laughter, and lasting connections.
Due to school suspension today, our second Year 1 coffee morning has been rescheduled to Monday, 18 August.
